Accessibility statement
How ihandpan.com approaches accessibility, where it currently falls short, and how to report a problem.
Last updated 13 September 2026.
Earthas DNCS OÜ, trading as Ibi Malik, is committed to making https://www.ihandpan.com usable by as many people as possible. This statement sets out where the site currently stands, honestly, including the places it falls short.
The standard we measure against #
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA — the current version of the World Wide Web Consortium’s guidelines, and the standard referenced by the European harmonised standard EN 301 549.
How conformant the site is #
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. “Partially conformant” means most of the site meets the standard, but some content does not. The specific shortfalls are named below.
We would rather say this plainly than claim a level of conformance the site does not yet reach.
What works well #
- Every page has a skip to content link, and the whole site can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline on whatever is selected.
- Pages are built from real headings, lists and landmarks, so a screen reader can navigate the structure and jump between sections. Every question in the Study section is its own heading, with its permanent code, and its own link.
- Text reflows down to a narrow screen and scales when you zoom, without losing content. Wide tables scroll inside their own box rather than pushing the page sideways.
- Body text, links and buttons are set well above the 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their backgrounds.
- The drawing of the D Kurd note layout has a full text description, and every photograph has a text alternative.
- Motion respects your reduced motion setting: if your device asks for less animation, the site stops animating.
- Nothing plays automatically.
- The typefaces are served from this site rather than a font network, so pages render the same whether or not third-party requests are blocked.
- There are no cookie banners, interstitials or pop-ups to dismiss.
Where the site falls short #
These are known, and not yet fixed.
Some small secondary text is low in contrast. The placeholder text in the Study search box is lighter than the 4.5:1 contrast ratio. This fails success criterion 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum), at level AA.
We intend to address these, and this statement will be updated as each one is done, rather than in advance of it.
How this was assessed #
By self-assessment, reviewing the published site and the code behind it against WCAG 2.2 level AA. It has not been audited by an external organisation. The review that produced this statement was carried out on 11 September 2026.
Content outside our control #
The video player, once lessons are published, is YouTube’s, loaded when you press play. Its accessibility is YouTube’s rather than ours.
Tell us about a problem #
If you cannot use part of this site, or you need something here in a different format, please write to ibraheem@malik5.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will reply within five working days.
If you need a note layout or a lesson described in words, ask and we will provide it for that item — you should not have to wait for the general fix.
If we do not put it right #
If you are not satisfied with how we respond, you can contact the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, Tarbijakaitse ja Tehnilise Järelevalve Amet, at https://www.ttja.ee/en, or the equivalent body in the EU country where you live.
